Job Details:
• Work in a high-volume emergency department serving over 100,000 visits annually
• Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
• No floating outside of the emergency department, but must be flexible to work in all sections within the ED
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement
• Navy scrubs required as dress code
• 2 years of nursing experience required with at least 1 year in emergency room setting
• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Equipment includes Baxter pumps and GE monitors
• Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Patient experience requirements include AIDET, respectful behavior, maintaining updated boards
• Work with tech support available for cardiac monitoring, internal processing, and triage
• Previous Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center experience preferred

This flagship hospital is licensed for 815 beds and serves as the region's referral center for Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke care, and Level III neonatal intensive care.
