Job Summary
Provides moderate-level technical support to Arconic Safety and Health as assigned to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standard requirements. Performs routine daily, weekly and monthly inspections of fire suppression and control systems within the Arconic facility. Responds to fire alarms and fires at locations within the facility. Works with Arconic leadership while on shift to promote a safe work environment for Arconic and their employees. Responds to medical emergencies and at times performs drug and alcohol screenings on injured employees. Performs basic emergency care within company environmental considerations according to approved policy and procedures and scope of practice.

Create and communicate the Safety Technician I and Fire Inspector schedule and ensure coverage.
Complete reports on fire incidents, medical calls, and damaged trailers.
Update and implement procedures and protocols as necessary with Arconic and/or Medical Director approval.
Provide coverage for the Security Supervisor when one is not available through the Security Team.
Provide CPR training for the facility (if CPR Instructor certified).
Perform duties as Arconic Human Resources Stand‑by.
Respond to all emergencies within the facility and provide basic emergency care in accordance with established protocols.
Perform all Fire Inspector duties and fill in when necessary
Remove lock‑out/tag‑out locks per Arconic procedure.
Complete daily fire inspections.
Complete weekly fire inspections.
Complete monthly fire inspections.
Complete annual fire inspections.
Evaluate areas for fire potential prior to hot work activities.
Manage Department of Homeland Security inventory.
Support Arconic environmental response processes related to spills and issues.
Support and assist fire suppression system contractors.
Perform fire suppression system troubleshooting, diagnosis, and minor repairs.
Perform data entry for fire system impairment notifications
Cut keys and core locks per the Arconic site system.
Perform reconciliation and data entry in the online fire inspection management system for required inspections.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
Education - Current paramedic or emergency medical technician advanced (EMT-A) certificate to practice professionally in Tennessee.
Experience - Experience with fire detection systems and fire control systems is preferred. Experience in emergency medicine setting preferred
