Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist in Savannah, GA. Use expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate and assure quality of imaging equipment, and monitor patients during procedures. Work in a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center supporting complex endovascular and interventional cases.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of Interventional Radiology technologist experience with references.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Graduate of an AMA‑approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current state radiologic technologist license for Georgia.
- Critical care, ICU or ER experience required.
- Experience with Angio/IR procedures including stroke and trauma care.
- Experience with equipment such as IVUS, Shockwave, AngioJet, JetStream preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC/Cupid documentation system preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in high-acuity hospital Interventional Labs or Hybrid OR environments.
- Experience managing critical care drips and complex patient monitoring during procedures.
- Experience with procedures such as thrombectomy, atherectomy, EVAR/TEVAR, TIPS, port and permcath placements preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 07:00–17:30.
- Shift Name: Days (schedule includes 10‑hour shifts as part of unit scheduling).
- Patient ratio typically 1:1 in Angiography/IR labs with 2–3 lab locations including dedicated IR labs and a hybrid OR.
- Unit requires ICU/ER experience and supports high‑acuity patient population, including stroke and trauma cases.
