Opportunity:
RN - ARU (Acute Rehabilitation Unit)
Job Details:
• Work in ARU unit providing pre/post care for cath lab and EP departments
• 4:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No weekend requirements
• No call requirements
• Maximum 7 days RTO (requested time off) per contract
• Holiday work required if major holidays fall during assignment period
• 2 years minimum experience required - unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Required skills: Dysrhythmia recognition/management, isolation precautions/PPE, obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, post cath lab procedures, pre-op medications, sheath pull, TR band, glucometer & iStat
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 20-35 patients
• 42-room unit
• 20 orientation hours required
• Full compliance required to start on time
