Job Details:
• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue
• Must have 3+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• Must live 75+ miles away from facility for travel rate (local rate available for those within 75 miles)
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Care for patients from newborn to geriatric across 64 beds including acute care, trauma, CDU, and psychiatric units
• Handle common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Administer complex medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedation drugs, TNK, heparin, and insulin
