**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse - Operating Room
- **Travel Experience Required:** Yes
- **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15)
- **Years of Experience:** 2 years
- **Patient Ratio Experience:** 1:1
- **Charting System:** Required, Any
**Experience in Trauma Levels:**
- **Preferred:** Trauma Level I
- **Required:** Trauma Level II
**Certifications:**
- **Required:** BLS
- **Preferred:** ACLS*, CNOR*
**Skills in Demand:**
- **Vascular Surgery:**
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair
- Aortoenteric fistula repair
- Carotid angioplasty
- Arteriovenous fistula repair
- Scrub Vascular Surgery*
- **Gynecological Procedures:**
- Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy
- Bilateral tubal ligation
- Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures
- Scrub Gynecology Surgery*
- **General Surgery:**
- Appendectomy
- Cholecystectomy
- Hernia repair
- Scrub General Surgery*
- **Orthopedic Procedures:**
- Total joint replacement
- Spinal Fusion
- Scrub orthopedic surgeries*
**Work Settings:**

**Additional Responsibilities:**
- Code response
- Infection control
- Wound management
- Administering blood & blood products
**Patient Age Groups:**
- Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
- Daily census: 40
**Interdisciplinary Support:**
- Interpretation Services, Radiology, Lift Teams, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary
**Flexibility Required:**
- Call Required: Yes
- Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend, variable shifts
**Important Notes:**
- Must have AK RN license for auto offer
- First Timers Not Accepted
- Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
- Orientation Hours: 40
- RTO Restrictions: Individual basis upon offer
