**Join Our Team as a NICU Registered Nurse!**
Are you a skilled and compassionate RN looking to make a real difference in the lives of newborns and their families? Join our dynamic team in the Level 4 NICU, where you’ll provide care to a diverse range of patients, from feeder-growers to complex ICU neonatal cases. **Your Key Responsibilities:**
* Meet the expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
* Provide nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
* Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
* Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
* Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
**What We’re Looking For:**
* **Education:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
* **Experience:** 1 year of related nursing specialty experience preferred.
* **Licenses & Certifications:**
- Current BLS Certification (AHA only).
- Current STABLE certification (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants).
- Current NRP Certification.
- RN License in the state of TX or compact.
* **Position Requirements:**
- Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- Complete onboarding with designated trained staff member.
- Fulfill all annual competency verification requirements.
* **Preferred Experience:** Perinatal RN Residency or recent practice in a Perinatal Setting.
**Work Schedule:**
* Days: 7 AM - 7 PM
* Full-Time Position
