**Job Description:**
- Seeking a passionate and competent Nurse to enhance our clinical setting.
- Practice independently while being aware of all relevant aspects of a situation.
- Provide both routine and complex care, setting long-range goals and plans.
- Develop your skills in coping with and managing clinical contingencies.
- Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers.
**Responsibilities:**

- Deliver nursing care in alignment with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, including:
- Assessment
- Diagnosis
- Planning
- Intervention
- Evaluation for assigned patients
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and resources.
**Job Requirements:**
**Education/Skills:**
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
**Experience:**
- Minimum of 1 year of related nursing specialty experience preferred.
- New graduates are welcome to apply!
**Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:**
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only).
- Current ACLS certification required (AHA only).
- RN License in the state of TX or compact.
**Position Requirements:**
**Education/Skills:**
- All new hires must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- Preceptorship by a designated trained staff member for onboarding validation.
- Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.
**Experience:**
- One year of experience in Critical Care setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
**Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:**
- Current ACLS certification required (AHA only).
**Work Schedule:**
- 5 Days - 8 Hours
