**Join Our Dynamic Behavioral Health Team!**
- **Position**: Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health
- **Shift**: Day (3x12-Hour, 06:45 - 19:15)
- **Patient Ratio**: 1:6
**Key Qualifications**:
- 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Experience with adult patients
**Preferred Certifications**:
- BLS
- CPI or MAB
- Additional behavioral health certifications are a plus
**Essential Skills**:
- Medications/Delivery Methods:
- Antianxiety, Antidepressants, Antipsychotics
- Medication Administration, Mood Stabilizers, Sedatives/Analgesics
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Care of Patients with:
- Anxiety disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Depressive disorders
- Eating Disorders, Personality disorders, PTSD
- Self-injurious behavior, Substance use, Psychotic Disorders
- Therapeutic Approaches:
- Crisis Intervention, De-escalation techniques
- Behavior management, Psychoeducation
**Emergency Care Skills**:
- Cardiac Arrest/CPR
- Emergent chemical restraints
- Physical Hold Protocols
**Unit Details**:
- Daily Census: 17 patients
- Locked Unit Standard Operations
- Interdisciplinary Support:
- IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Pharmacy
- Patient Age Group: Adults
**Scheduling Information**:
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- Float may be required
**Orientation Hours**: 36
