**Join Our Dynamic CVICU Team as a Night Registered Nurse!**
- **Unit:** 5200-1002 - Coronary Care Unit B
- **Profession:** Registered Nurse

- **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in critical care
- **Certifications Required:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- **Skills Preferred:**
- IV therapy
- Arterial line management
- Blood product administration
- Central line care/management
- PICC line management
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Assist with chest tube insertion/removal
- BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance
- Care of ventilated patients
- Chronic/acute renal failure
- CVVHD/CRRT
- Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
- CVA/acute stroke management
- Impella management
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- IV insulin protocols
- **Work Settings:**
- Surgical Intensive Care Unit
- **Patient Ratios:**
- Days: 1:2
- Nights: 1:2
- Weekends: 1:2
- **Float Requirement:** Yes (may float to MSICU, Neuro ICU, Burn ICU if needed)
- **Weekend Coverage:** Every other weekend
- **Patient Age Groups:** Adults, Geriatrics
- **Daily Census:** 20
- **Number of Rooms:** 24
- **Number of Beds:** 24
- **Additional Unit Information:**
- Interdisciplinary support from IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
- Patient diagnoses include a mix of cardiac surgical and cardiac medical patients, with occasional adult medical ICU overflow
