**Stepdown Registered Nurse - Night Shift Opportunity!**
**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic and supportive Stepdown unit as a Registered Nurse!
- Work the Night shift with flexibility in block scheduling (3x12-hour shifts: 18:30 - 07:00).
- Engage in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:4, providing essential care to adult and geriatric patients.
- Participate in interdisciplinary support with services like Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy.
- Experience a variety of patient diagnoses, including:
- Respiratory Failure
- A-Fib with RVR
- Sepsis
- Non-DKA
- CHF
- COPD
- Alcohol Withdrawal
- Utilize advanced equipment and participate in special procedures:
- TEE
- Cardioversion
- Groin Site Management
- Manage special equipment like Airvo and Bi-PAP.
**Requirements:**
- Preferred previous charge experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Stepdown or comparable unit.
- Proficient in Epic charting system.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (must have in hand at submission).
- Required skills:
- IV therapy/Phlebotomy
- Central/PICC line care and management
- Blood product administration
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
- Non-invasive airway management
- Comfortable floating to other units as needed (very seldom).
- Weekend coverage every other weekend with flexible scheduling for weekend shifts.
