**Exciting Opportunity for Critical Care RN!**
**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic nursing team in a high-acuity critical care environment!
- Work the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, providing essential care to patients recovering from cardio-thoracic surgery.
- Utilize your expertise with advanced technologies such as IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Artic Sun, TABLO XT/CRRT, and manage patients with multiple comorbidities.
- Provide both routine and complex patient care, utilizing the nursing process:
- Assessment
- Diagnosis
- Planning
- Intervention
- Evaluation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided clearly and accurately.
- Educate patients and families, assessing their learning needs, and providing necessary resources.
**Requirements:**
- Education:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience:
- One year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply!
- Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only).
- Current ACLS certification required (AHA only).
- RN License in the state of TX or compact.
**Position Requirements:**
- Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- Initial onboarding will be supported by a designated trained staff member.
- Complete all annual competency verification requirements.
