Registered Dental Hygienist - $42 to $50/hr

Quality oriented dental hygienist needed for a slow paced but growing office with great working environment. We are a private Fee-for-Service dental practice located in Schenectady, NY. Ideal candidate is someone with good communication skills, good work ethic, great bedside manners, a team player, who is punctual and reliable. Must have an active Registered Dental Hygienist’s license to be considered.

Schedule: Part time position (Mondays) available.

Compensation Plan:

$42-$50+ per hour
Generous biannual Bonuses
Dental Care

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) duties include:

Providing dental health education about tooth care and diet
Removing plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
Taking impressions and dental radiographs of teeth
Applying prophylactic/antibacterial materials, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides to help prevent tooth decay
Carrying out screening and monitoring procedures
Helps if has experience in bleaching teeth, fabrication of night guards in and if certified to administer local anesthesia
