**Exciting Nursing Opportunity in M/S Tele!**
**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic nursing team focused on patient-centered care.
- Float between Medical/Surgical Telemetry (M/S Tele) and work with ED HOLD patients.
- Required to work a minimum of every other weekend.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- AHA BLS certification required; CMSRN preferred.
- NIHSS certification required prior to starting.
- Epic experience within the last 2 years is indispensable.
**Additional Information:**
- Monday to Sunday schedule; no block scheduling available.
- Reliable transportation is a must, as public transportation is not accessible.
- Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November to April.
**Facility Details:**
- Total number of facility beds: 341
- M/S Tele Unit Configurations:
- R5: 24 beds
- R6: 24 beds
- R7: 25 beds
**Staffing and Support:**
- Nurse-to-patient ratios:
- R5: 1:4
- R6: 1:4
- R7: 1:5 (adjustments may occur)
- Staffing Support: CNA/PCT available
- Unit clerk/Secretary present on each shift
**Orientation and Attire:**
- 1 day of orientation provided.
- Dress Code: Navy blue and white scrubs (solid colors).
- Comfortable footwear required.
**Patient Population:**
- Diverse range of patients aged 25-99, including:
- Med Surg Oncology
- Med Surg Ortho
- Med Surg Urology (ALC)
**Special Equipment:**
- IV Pumps, Bladder Scanner, and 24/7 Respiratory support available.
