Join Our Team as an RN in MedSurg/PCU!
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse to join our skilled team in the MedSurg/PCU departments. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital!
- Utilize your expertise to identify patients' and their significant others’ needs for education, providing necessary information through engaging education modalities.
- Enhance patient safety through preventative measures, including proper use of side rails, restraints, and equipment.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of safe operation of equipment in PCU, Telemetry, and MedSurg areas.
- Implement infection control and isolation procedures, adhering to best practices for safety and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and responses throughout your shift.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of physician’s orders.
- Deliver comprehensive change-of-shift reports to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain and restock emergency carts and general supplies to ensure readiness at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, communicating all necessary information clearly and accurately.
- Report critical lab values promptly to physicians, following established protocols.
- Carry out other duties as assigned, showcasing your versatility in various departments.
Shift Information: Day Shift
Minimum Years of Experience: 3
Certifications/Requirements:
- Active WA RN License
- ACLS Certification
- BLS/BCLS Certification
