**Exciting Opportunity for RN in Resource Pool and M/S Tele!**
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Plattsburgh, NY
- **Facility Type:** 341 Total Beds
- **Unit:** M/S Tele ED Hold + Resource Float
- **Patient Ratios:**
- R5: 1:4
- R6: 1:4
- R7: 1:5
- **Shift Hours:** Monday to Sunday
- **Weekend Requirements:** Minimum of every other weekend
- **Floating Required:** Yes (Across R5, R6, R7, and other potential Tele units)
- **Dress Code:** Navy Blue & White Scrubs
- **Required Certifications:** AHA BLS; CMSRN preferred
- **Experience Required:**
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Epic experience within the last 2 years (non-negotiable)
- NIHSS certification required before starting
- **Patient Population:**
- R5: Med Surg Oncology
- R6: Med Surg Ortho
- R7: Med Surg Urology
- **Special Equipment:** IV Pumps, Bladder Scanner
- **Ancillary Assistance:**
- CNA/PCT support available during shifts
- Unit clerk/Secretary provided
- **Orientation:** 1 Day
**Transportation Note:**
- Public transportation is not accessible in this area. Reliable personal vehicle or rental vehicle is strongly recommended.
- All-season or snow tires required from November to April.
**Unit Specific Procedures:**
- IVs, bladder scans, blood draws off central lines, glucose monitoring
- Potential to work with ED HOLD patients in ECC/ER
