Job Details:
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Patient ratio: 1:4 for all shifts (days, nights, and weekends)
• Every other weekend required
• No floating between units
• No on-call requirements
• No 48-hour shifts approved
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Epic charting system experience required
• Care for all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Must have valid WA or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Scrub color: Any color (surgical services provided)
• Free parking available
• Complete non-billable modules pre-start and annually (average 16 hours)
• Compliance documents due Monday prior to start
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby
• 2 references required covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Must be within 50-mile local radius
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility operates as a Level III Trauma Center, providing comprehensive emergency and trauma services. The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, lift teams, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services. The emergency department handles a wide range of cases from routine medical conditions to complex trauma situations, serving patients across all age groups.
