Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Floating to other units required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2+ years of emergency department experience required with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand)
• Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatric population
• Treat common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Operate in 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage beds, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma beds, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psychiatric beds

The facility features specialized areas including trauma bays, clinical decision units, and psychiatric emergency services. The emergency department is equipped with advanced medical technology and maintains capabilities to treat patients across all age groups from newborns to geriatric patients, handling complex cases including stroke, cardiac emergencies, trauma, and critical care situations.
