Opportunity:
RN - Labor & Delivery/Mother-Baby
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother-Baby 1:3
• Epic charting system experience required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Weekend coverage required with 6 weekends per contract (Friday, Saturday, Sunday for nights)
• One pre-approved time off period allowed
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Care for neonates and adults with daily census of 14 patients
• 14 rooms and 15 beds available
• LDRP unit with comprehensive maternal and newborn care services
• Work with interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• State or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
Facility:
This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby unit providing full-spectrum maternal and newborn care services. The facility features LDRP capabilities with modern equipment and maintains a daily census of 14 patients across 15 beds. The organization offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including specialized therapy services, respiratory care, pharmacy support, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes for mothers and newborns.
