Job Details:
• Self-scheduling system with 1:1-1:2 patient ratios
• Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts in 6 week schedule
• No on-call responsibilities and no floating between units required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Must have compact nursing license in hand at submission
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Scrub color requirement: Navy for RNs
• 24-hour orientation period with 16 hours average for modules
• Must provide 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Work with adolescent and adult patient populations in 15-room unit
• Comprehensive skills required including labor and delivery, cesarean sections, neonatal resuscitation, and high-risk obstetrical care
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy

This is a 181-bed children's hospital and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center that provides specialized maternal and pediatric care. The facility offers comprehensive labor and delivery services with modern equipment and interdisciplinary support teams. The hospital maintains high standards for patient safety and quality care, featuring dedicated units for various specialties and a focus on family-centered healthcare delivery.
