Opportunity:
Cath Lab RN Needed for MUSC
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• On-call required 1-2 nights per week and one weekend in a six-week period
• Holiday call possible
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency
• South Carolina or multi-state/compact license required at start of contract
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Work with 5 cath lab rooms plus hybrid OR
• Handle various procedures including right and left heart cath diagnostic, PCI, complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, peripheral, and vascular cases
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Skills include interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and scrub procedures
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)
• Pre-approved time off must be submitted at time of application
• Non-billable modules averaging 4 hours completed pre-start

This major academic medical center operates a comprehensive cardiovascular program with advanced catheterization laboratory services. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment including multiple cath lab rooms and hybrid operating facilities to support complex cardiac and vascular procedures. The medical center provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
