Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department!
Job Description:
- Are you ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced Emergency Department?
- As a Registered Nurse, you will hold shift accountability for delivering exceptional care to our emergency room patients.
- Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to anticipate and plan for the safe delivery of patient care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of your team.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel who are delivering patient care.
Position Details:
- Shift: DAYS, 7 AM - 7:30 PM (3x12s) with a possibility of a 48-hour guarantee.
- Preferred experience: Charge Nurse (additional $3/hr.)
- Must be willing to float within the department.
- Facility capacity: 38 beds.
- Required experience: 2 years in a similar role.
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR is essential.
- Dress code: Black scrubs.
- Trauma Level III certified and stroke receiving facility.
- STEMI receiving experience is a plus.
- NIH certification is recommended but not mandatory.
