Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts with multiple shift time options: 7a-7p, 7a-3p, 3p-7p, 7p-11p, 11p-7a, 7p-7a
• Every other weekend requirement
• Self-scheduling available
• 2 days of orientation provided
• Patient ratios: 1:4 for PCU patients, 1:5 for med/surg patients during days; 1:5-6 patients during nights
• 27-bed mixed unit caring for adult patients
• Float to med/surg and PCU units of same level of care
• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% or higher score
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• ONS/ONCC certification preferred
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• 1 year of experience required
• Oncology and PCU experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Charge nurse experience minimum 1 year
• Titrate drips including insulin occasionally and cardizem
• Work with common drips/medications: chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, protonix
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove leads to contract termination
• Use EPIC charting system and Alaris IV pumps
• Work with specialty equipment including ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and Lyko lifts
• Must live outside 50-mile radius and provide driver's license at submittal
• Cannot be employed with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities
• RTO required upfront (7 days or less per 13-week contract)
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

This Level 1 trauma center provides acute care services with a focus on oncology and trauma patient populations.
