Opportunity:
Cardiac Stepdown
Job Details:
• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing professional clinical knowledge and skills in patient care management
• Day shift maintains 1:4-5 patient ratio while night shift maintains 1:5-6 patient ratio
• Charge nurses prioritize safe assignments based on cardiac experience levels
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Must have 2 years of previous cardiac stepdown experience
• Must have EPIC EMR experience
• Work history must demonstrate 24 months of current stepdown/progressive care experience
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Illinois nursing license required and must be active at time of submission
• Skills checklist specific to stepdown/progressive care discipline required
• Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months preferred
• First time travelers accepted
