Opportunity:
RN - Med/Surg
Job Details:
• Work day shifts primarily caring for adult patients with occasional pediatric cases
• Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in general Med/Surg unit
• Coordinate exceptional patient care utilizing the Nursing Process for critical decision making
• Deliver holistic care addressing patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs
• Work under accountability to Unit Director and collaborate with Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor
• Minimum 3 years of acute care experience required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure required
• BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification required prior to start
• Travelers will start on Wednesdays
• During orientation week, 48-hour contract travelers guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start
• All required credentials must be uploaded five business days before start date
• This is NOT a pediatric floor - do not submit pediatric-only RNs
