Opportunity:
RN - Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Work in cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology setting
• Handle STEMI procedures, EP Lab, interventional and procedural cases
• Perform biopsies (GI, GU/Renal), peripheral vascular procedures, and stent placement
• On-call requirement: minimum one weekday and one weekend per month
• Shift hours can vary from 8-hour or 10-hour shifts depending on staffing and vacation needs
• Weekend coverage required with additional days and weekends per month as needed
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations in 2-room unit
• 2 years of experience required with travel experience mandatory
• Does not accept first-time travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Required skills: Blood/Blood Products Administration, Cardioversion/Defibrillation, Cooling/Warming Blanket, Obtain 12 Lead EKG, Syringe Pumps
• Must assist with central line insertion/management, chest tube placement, procedural sedation, sheath removal/monitoring
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab preferred
• Manager will consider IR nurses but prefers cath lab experience
• Complete pre-start modules averaging 16 hours (non-billable)
• Must provide 2 references covering 1 year within last 3 years
