Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Chart using Epic system
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3
• Weekend coverage required with 6 weekends per contract (Friday, Saturday, Sunday for nights)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Work with neonates and adults in LDRP unit
• Daily census of 14 patients with 14 rooms and 15 beds
• Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• State or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• No license hits accepted
• Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as traveler
Facility:
This healthcare facility features a comprehensive women's services department with a 14-room LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit that handles 100-200 births per month. The facility provides full interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and offers comprehensive orientation and training programs for nursing staff.
