Opportunity:
RN - Stepdown/Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled
• Weekend requirement of 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Holiday rotation for evening or day shifts
• No call or standby requirements
• No floating requirements
• Stepdown unit with 1:3 patient ratio and Med Surg floor with 1:5-6 patient ratio
• 20-bed unit with nurse aids available (2 per shift)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• Stepdown experience required
• Must be comfortable titrating drips including Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and amiodarone
• Common patient diagnoses include respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain
• Telemetry monitoring available with strips monitored at Ruby
• RT equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Unit-specific orientation provided
• EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
• 50-mile radius rule applies - driver's license copy required
• Client may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
