Job Details:
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required - does not accept first-time travelers
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• Patient ratio: 1:1-3
• Float to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set
• Work with 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Care for patients with labor/preterm labor diagnoses
• Perform duties including circulating, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low risk antepartum, and low risk labor and delivery
• Administer blood/blood products, cardioversion/defibrillation procedures
• Operate cooling/warming blankets, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps
• Manage wound VAC therapy and medications including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Attend all deliveries including high-risk deliveries
• Assist with GYN surgeries, couplet care, low risk antepartum, and transition nursery
• Care for adolescents, infants, and adults
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 16 hours pre-start and annually
• Provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

The facility handles 200-300 births per month and provides high-risk antepartum care, surgical services, and transition nursery support. The organization maintains advanced capabilities for both routine and complex deliveries, offering comprehensive maternal and infant care services with specialized equipment and experienced interdisciplinary teams.
