Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Must have 5+ years of nursing experience and at least 1 travel assignment
• MEDITECH experience required
• Must comply with 75-mile radius rule with driver's license address verification
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI
• BSN not required
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• Floor-specific orientation: 2 shifts
• Must complete ORT during first week
• Auto lunch deductions apply
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
• Work with MEDITECH 6.15 charting system
• Nurses perform their own lab draws and IV starts
• Charge nurse responsibilities included
• Handle approximately 180-200 patient visits per day
• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma cases
• Work with 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatry
• Support available from 5-6 nurse aides/paramedics per shift, respiratory therapists, and security

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department handling high patient volumes with advanced trauma capabilities and specialized services. The facility features a dedicated 6-bed behavioral health unit, central monitoring technology, and 24/7 respiratory therapy support. The emergency department maintains CVA center designation and provides acute care services with full pharmacy support and multiple physician and mid-level provider coverage throughout all shifts.
