Opportunity:
Labor & Delivery RN
Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Experience with facility births of 200-300 per month
• Handle high risk antepartum patients and triage obstetrical patients
• Skills include IUPC placement and calibration, maintaining central lines (CVC/PICC)
• Administer anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and Magnesium Sulfate therapy
• Assist with high risk deliveries, circulate for C-sections, and recover C-section patients
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and follow isolation precautions/PPE protocols
• Complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Complete 4-6 hours of non-billable modules onsite during orientation
• Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
