Registered Nurse - LDRP

Location: Silverdale, Washington

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday) and holiday rotation shared with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring safety and comfort
Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips to support optimal patient outcomes
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with in-house OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Anesthesia providers 24/7
Support high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance-use cases
Float within the Birthing Center to Mother-Baby and Postpartum units as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
No first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing expertise
Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
C-section circulation and newborn transition support
High-risk OB patient management
Electronic Fetal Monitoring with Centricity-Perinatal system
