- ACLS
- AWHONN Intermediate
- BLS
- NRP
- **Preferred Certifications:** AWHONN Advanced
**Key Skills & Qualifications:**
- **Labor and Delivery Management:**
- Assist with high-risk delivery and vaginal delivery
- C-section circulation and recovery
- Forceps/vacuum extraction
- Hemorrhage/shock management
- **Neonatal Care in Delivery Room:**
- APGAR scores assessment
- Neonatal resuscitation
- Radiant warmers/thermoregulation
- **Postpartum Care and Procedures:**
- Baby friendly protocols
- Breastfeeding support
- Wound assessment/care and episiotomy/incisional care
- **Patient Care:**
- Assess and manage various patient conditions, including diabetes, pre-eclampsia, and more
- Pain management techniques including epidurals and PCA
- **Professional Topics & Skills:**
- Isolation precautions and PPE
- Vaccine administration
**Work Settings:**
- LDRP
