We are actively hiring experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses (RN – L&D) for a contract opportunity with Cherokee Nation Health Services at W.W. Hastings Hospital in Oklahoma. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced obstetrical environment and are passionate about providing exceptional maternal and newborn care.
Position Details:
- Specialty: RN – Labor & Delivery

- Location: W.W. Hastings Hospital, Oklahoma
- Openings: 4
- Schedule: 12-hour Night Shifts
- Hours: 3 Days per Week
- Unit Overview:
- Approximately 850–900 deliveries annually
- 10 Postpartum Beds
- 5 Labor & Delivery Beds
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor maternal and fetal conditions
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Assist during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including:
- Infusion pumps
- Cardiac monitors
- Pulse oximeters
- Ventilators
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Respond effectively in emergency situations
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent L&D RN experience
- Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License
- Required Certifications:
✔ BLS
✔ ACLS
✔ NRP
✔ STABLE - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet physical demands of nursing duties
- Must pass:
- Background Check
- Drug Screen
