**Exciting Opportunity: RN - Cardiovascular Care Unit - Days**
Join our dynamic Cardiovascular Unit (CVU), a 30-bed unit providing exceptional medical, pre-operative, and post-operative surgical care to medium to high acuity patients!
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver high-level nursing care to a diverse patient population, from young adults to geriatrics.
- Manage patients with complex cardiac diagnoses, including:
- Pre/Post cardiac artery bypass surgery
- Carotid endarterectomy
- Acute Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Post pacemaker insertion
- Arrhythmia detection
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Pneumonia and similar conditions
- Ensure optimal patient outcomes with a nurse-to-patient ratio not exceeding 1:4.
- Potential to float to other units, including Med/Surg, as needed.
**Requirements:**
- Current CA RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- EPIC charting experience is a must
- Minimum of 2 years of Critical Care experience
- Proven track record of successful completion of prior traveler assignments
**Shift Information:**
- 12-hour shifts, Days (0700 start)
- Holiday coverage required
