Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Duration: 07/19/2026 – 10/17/2026

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry/PCU Registered Nurse for a fast-paced cardiac progressive care/stroke overflow unit. The ideal candidate must be comfortable handling cardiac drips, floating between units, and working in a high-acuity environment.

The nurse should be able to hit the ground running and demonstrate strong clinical and critical thinking skills.

Unit Details

34-bed Cardiac PCU/Telemetry Stroke Overflow Unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4 / 1:5
Fast-paced acute care environment
Floating required based on facility needs

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Telemetry RN experience
Active RN License
ACLS Certification
BLS Certification
NIH Certification
Recent Epic charting experience within the last year
Recent phlebotomy experience within the last year
Must be able to start and maintain IVs
Must be comfortable with cardiac drips
Accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE required
