**Exciting Opportunity for ICU Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights!**
**Job Description:**
- Travel ICU RN position available
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 6:30p-6:30a
- Floating required to other departments
**Qualifications:**
- 2+ years of ICU experience required
- Experience in ER & Med Surg required
- BLS & ACLS certifications required
- TNCC certification preferred
- Proficiency with ventilators, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred
**Role Details:**
- Number of beds in unit: 12
- Patient ratio: 1:2-3
- Scope of role: Total care for ICU patients, including ventilators, titratable drips, and hygiene care
- No call required
- Fingerprints for all New Mexico travelers are mandatory (process may take several weeks)
- EMR system: MedHost
- Scrub color: Any
**Floating Procedures:**
- Float log maintained in ICU with rotation
- Potential override by house supervisor for specific situations
- When floating to ER:
- Assist with call lights, pass medications, transport patients, start IVs, perform blood draws
- When floating to Med Surg:
- Full assignment of patients (up to 6) or act as an aide for 12 patients
