**Exciting Opportunity for PACU Registered Nurse (RN)!**
**Job Description:**
- **Position**: PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
- **Start Date**: ASAP
- **Duration**: 13 Weeks
- **Guaranteed Hours**: 36 Hrs./wk.
- **Shift**: 4x10's, 6:30 AM to 5 PM
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional care to Post Anesthesia Care Unit patients.
- Collaborate with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Surgical staff, and other healthcare personnel.
- Utilize the Nursing Process in line with the state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgement in patient care.
- Lead and plan for the safe delivery of care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Supervise and provide direction to assigned personnel in delivering patient care.
**Requirements:**
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years in PACU nursing.
- **Credentials**:
- Current AZ Nursing License
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- **Floating**: Required if needed.
- **Scrub Color**: Any color is acceptable.
- **EMR System**: Cerner.
**On-Call Expectations:**
- 10-12 days of on-call duty within a 6-week scheduling period.
