**Job Description:**
- **Position Summary:**
- Join a skilled team handling a wide spectrum of medical conditions, injuries, and traumas
- Deliver premium patient care with efficiency and compassion
- Collaborate with the emergency room team to provide timely assessments and treatments
- **Position Qualifications:**
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure in good standing in the state of California
- 1 year experience as an Emergency Department nurse preferred
- ACLS, PALS, and CPR certification; NRP and TNCC required within one year of hire
- **Position Responsibilities:**

- Exhibit professional behavior both on and off duty
- Collaborate effectively with all levels within the organization
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Foster positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff
- Organize and manage time effectively, ensuring a clean and well-stocked work environment
- **Specific Competencies:**
- Conduct individualized patient assessments and prioritize needs
- Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Administer treatments accurately and timely as per physician orders
- Perform nursing procedures including EKGs, blood draws, and IV starts
- Educate patients and their families on care plans
- Document assessments and patient responses diligently
- Initiate resuscitation measures following protocols
- Uphold confidentiality of patients, families, and staff
- Provide care with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
- Adhere to safety and infection control standards
- Assist nursing staff in other departments as needed
- Ensure the highest standards of patient care and open communication regarding concerns
- Follow medication administration and narcotics control procedures
- **Professional Requirements:**
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance as per dress code
- Complete annual education and meet regulatory requirements
- Wear identification while on duty
- Participate actively in evaluations and feedback processes
- Punctual and responsible regarding work schedules and tasks
- Attend required meetings
- Align with our mission, ethics, and goals in job performance
- **Working Conditions:**
- Flexibility to work beyond normal hours and in different roles as necessary
- Engage effectively with personnel, visitors, and regulatory agencies
- Function independently while demonstrating integrity and teamwork
- **Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, walk, and move intermittently during working hours
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
