Join Our Surgical ICU Team!
- Position: RN for Surgical ICU
- Floating: Requirement to float to MICU as needed
- Schedule: Must be flexible; willing to work potentially all weekend shifts
- Weekend Requirement: Minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet unit needs
- Scrubs: Any solid color scrubs
Requirements:
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required
- CCRN preferred; NIHSS certification must be completed prior to start
- Prior travel experience is a must
- A minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Experience in a large (500+ bed count) teaching facility is essential
- Strong hemodynamic device experience is preferred
- Typical patient population includes: Post cardiac surgery, vascular, trauma-level 1 general surgery, neurosurgery, overflow MICU
- Recent EPIC experience within the last 2 years is non-negotiable
Additional Information:
- Availability: Monday to Sunday
- No block scheduling allowed
- Ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained
- All work history details are required for submission (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)
Transportation Notes:
- Public transportation is NOT accessible in this area;
- Reliable transportation is essential; personal or rental vehicle recommended
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November – April
