**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Department!**
- **Position**: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
- **Shift**: Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM, 3x12s) – *48-hour guarantee available!*
- **Start Date**: Within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
- **Preferred Experience**: Charge Nurse experience (additional $3/hr.)
- **Facility**: 38 bed Emergency Department
- **Required Experience**: Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse
- **EMR System**: Experience with Cerner is required
- **Dress Code**: Black scrubs
- **Certifications**: Trauma Level III Certified, Stroke Receiving, STEMI Receiving; NIH certification is recommended but not required
- **Floating**: Must be willing to float between departments
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide exceptional care to Emergency Room patients
- Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment
- Anticipate and plan for safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department
- Maintain clinical competence through continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities based on education and experience of staff
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
