**Exciting Opportunity for ICU Registered Nurses – Nights!**
**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic ICU team providing exceptional care during the night shift.
- Shift: 4x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, BLS*, NIHSS
- Experience with a patient ratio of 1:2
**Key Skills:**
- IV therapy
- Arterial line management
- Blood product administration
- Central line care/management
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Chest tube insertion/removal assistance
- Ventilator management, including BiPAP/CPAP
- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Management of chronic/acute renal failure
- Continuous and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
**Professional Topics:**
- Infection prevention and isolation precautions
- Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
- Endocrine/metabolic management, including IV insulin protocols
**Work Environment:**
- Neuro Intensive Care Unit* and Surgical Intensive Care Unit*
- Float required to MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, CVICU (capped at 4 patients maximum)
- Patient ratio: Days/Nights/Weekends 1:2
**Scheduling Details:**
- Orientation hours: 24
- Number of weekend shifts per contract: 6
- Option of 36 or 48 hours
