**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse - ICU
- **Specialty:** Intensive Care Unit
- **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)
- **Travel Experience:** Not required
- **Years of Experience:** 2 years
- **Patient Ratio Experience:** 1:2
- **Certifications (Preferred):**
- ACLS
- BLS*
- NIHSS
- **Skills (Preferred):**
- IV therapy
- Arterial line management
- Blood Product Administration
- Central line care/management
- PICC line management
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
- BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance
- Care of Ventilated Patients
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Suctioning (ETT, NT)
- Ventilator Management
- **Professional Skills:**
- Infection Prevention
- Isolation Precautions/PPE
- Phlebotomy
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response (Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias)
- **Work Settings:**
- Neuro Intensive Care Unit* (Preferred)
- Surgical Intensive Care Unit* (Preferred)
- **Additional Details:**
- Patient Ratios: Days/Nights/Weekends - 1:2
- Float Required: Yes (Possibility to float to MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, CVICU with a cap at 4 patients)
- Number of Patients: 32 rooms/32 beds
- Orientation Hours: 24
- Patient Age Groups: Adults
- Weekend Shifts: 6 per schedule period
- Flexible scheduling: Option for 36 or 48 hours
