**Job Description:**
- **Position:** RN in Med/Surg; Neuro Acute Care
- **Floor:** 4 Main
- **Location:** 2010 Brookwood Medical Center Dr. Birmingham, AL 35209
- **Number of Openings:** 1
- **Shift:** 1845-0715
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 (subject to cancellation up to 3 times per contract)
- **Weekend Hours:** Every other weekend
- **Call Requirements:** N/A
**Required Certifications:**
- BLS
- NIHSS
- RN Licensure (must be AHA compliant and in hand for submission)
**Years of Experience:**
- 2+ Years
**Float Requirements:**
- May float to other units within the acute care division, including facilities within a 25-mile radius
**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 24
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:6
- **Equipment:** General hospital equipment for an acute care unit
**Must Have Skills/Experience:**
- Neuro/Post-Stroke Acute Care
- Dysphagia Screenings
- Stroke Assessments
- BCMA

- Interdisciplinary Communication

- TR Band Management
