**Exciting Opportunity for a Float Nurse in Outpatient Clinics!**
**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic team as a Float Nurse in outpatient clinics, providing essential nursing care with the flexibility to work across various specialties including:
- Cardiology
- Endocrinology
- ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat)
- General Surgery
- Ophthalmology
- Pain Management
- Primary Care
- Rheumatology
- Afterhours Care
- Snowmass Clinic
- Work independently as the primary nurse under minimal supervision.
- Stay adaptable and ready to float between clinics as needed.
**Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:**
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or the ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing
- 2 years of PCU/ICU/CCU experience
- 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) from the Emergency Nurses Association
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- Bilingual in Spanish
**Housing Information:**
- Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
- Important note: Housing in the area can be expensive, particularly during the winter months.
- Possible housing options in surrounding towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs.
- A budget of $3,500/month is common for a 1-bedroom apartment in Basalt.
**Shift Information:**
- Days: 8-hour shifts, 32 hours/week
- No holiday coverage required
