Nurse Practitioner | Neonatal Location: West Virginia Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for an 84-day assignment with our client in West Virginia, starting Sep 1, 2026. This full-time role involves a Monday through Sunday schedule with both day and call coverage, typically from 7:30 AM to 5 PM. The successful candidate will manage 8-10 patients daily, hold night call responsibilities, and provide expert care within a children's hospital neonatal intensive care unit. Responsibilities and Duties Maintain a full-time schedule Monday through Sunday with day and call coverage Manage 8 – 10 patients per day with night call responsibilities Provide care within a children's hospital setting with a neonatal intensive care unit Perform advanced procedures including chest tubes, umbilical lines, and lumbar punctures Provide respiratory management and arterial line placement Execute paracentesis and thoracentesis Interpret EKGs and perform central line placement Additional Information Board Certifications: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP), Neonatology EMR System: Epic Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
