### Exciting Opportunity: CVICU RN - Nights
**Job Description:**
- Join our dynamic 10 Bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit as a CVICU RN!
- Seeking passionate professionals with recent Open Heart Recovery Nurse experience.
- Provide care for immediate post-operative open heart patients—be vital from day one!
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver exceptional care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable cardiac patients.
- Support patients physically, emotionally, spiritually, and culturally.
- Care for diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and cases such as:
- Pre and post PCI care
- Pacemaker procedures
- Revascularization
- Thoracotomy
- CHF, COPD, DKA, renal failure, DVT, PE, sepsis, and various surgical services.
- Operate advanced medical equipment, including:
- Central lines
- Chest tubes
- Nasogastric tubes
- Continuous bladder irrigation
- Arterial lines
- Multiple IVs
- Provide short-term ventilatory support.
- Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
- Act as a clinical leader and assist in precepting staff.
- Ensure comprehensive patient care from admission to discharge, including discharge planning.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent; Degree from an Accredited Nursing Program.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in critical care, CVICU, and open heart preferred.
- **Knowledge:** Advanced nursing principles and critical care procedures.
- **Skills:**
- Proficiency with basic office equipment and multiple IV pumps.
- Competency in operating advanced medical equipment.
- Basic cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation.
**Licensure/Certification Required:**
- Current State of Montana RN Licensure
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
**Shift Information:**
- Night Shift
