Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Clinical expertise and experience in a healthcare setting.
- Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD) or a related field
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess staff learning needs and develop educational programs.
- Facilitate training sessions on various topics, including clinical skills and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate nursing staff's clinical competence and create personalized education plans.
- Develop orientation programs for new hires to ensure they understand hospital policies and procedures.
- Coordinate continuing education opportunities and certifications for ongoing professional development.
- Collaborate with quality improvement teams to address patient care concerns and enhance quality.
- Ensure nursing staff comply with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
- Keep staff informed about healthcare advancements, evidence-based practices, and regulatory changes.
- Maintain detailed records of educational programs and support staff in achieving professional goals.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to align educational initiatives with organizational goals and standards.
