Job Description:
This position requires charge experience in a Labor and Delivery setting, including labor and recovery of the mother, and transition of the newborn. Duties include daily and safety rounding on all patients.
Responsibilities:
- Labor and recover the mother.
- Receive and transition the newborn, including assessment.
- Manage shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and other OB emergencies.
- Administer fetal monitoring and manage inducing agents like Pitocin and Cervidil.
- Perform C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, and vacuum or forceps-assisted deliveries.
Requirements:
- Labor and delivery experience.
- Charge nurse experience.
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring training.
