Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room is responsible for providing perioperative patient care, specializing in cardiovascular procedures. The nurse will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical staff to facilitate quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage patient care during cardiovascular surgeries in collaboration with the surgical team.
- Demonstrate strong scrub and circulating skills specific to cardiac procedures.
- Take part in rotation for weekend and holiday on-call duties as required.
Requirements:
- 2 years of CVOR experience in a level 1 trauma center.
- Current KS RN License and BLS certification.
- Willingness to float to Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD as needed.
- Must be nicotine-free.
